Car Carport

Car CarportIf your home does not have a garage, or you have more vehicles than garage space, you may have to keep a vehicle outside all year. Keeping a vehicle outdoors all year long puts it at risk to the different damaging factors each season. The sun's harmful UV rays can cause a car's paint to crack or peel. Snow and rain can cause rust or water damage if it reaches the interior. If you need somewhere to park your car where it will not be susceptible to these risks, you need a car carport. At Carport Depot, we have the car carport that you need.

Car carports come in many different styles and sizes. Whether you have a small sports car, a big SUV, or even an RV, there is a carport for you. We have carports that come in widths between 10 and 30 feet and heights between 8 and 12 feet. There are two main types of car carports. They are either carports that use a polyethylene cover or are a metal carport.

>Car CarportThe polyethylene carports are made with a powder-coated steel frame. The polyethylene material used for the cover is UV and water resistant. This very strong and durable material will protect your vehicle from the sun, rain, snow, and wind. It can easily be set up and taken down, so you can move it to anywhere you want on your property. They are great for long term car storage, because they are enclosed on all four sides, providing maximum protection for your vehicle. Your vehicle will be safe from any weather conditions when inside the polyethylene car carport.

The metal carports are extremely sturdy and strong. The frame is made from a 14 gauge triple layer galvanized steel tubing that is resistant to rust, fire, termites, and rot. The roof is made from a 29 gauge steel with an 80,000-PSI strength minimum. A metal carport comes in a valance style that has no sides. The roofhangs over the sides a little, but there is not much as much side protection as non-metal carports. The metal car carports are better for providing cover from the sun and rain for a car you drive daily. Not having sides make it easy to pull in and out of the carport. However, if you want to give your car added protection, you can purchase metal sides as an option.

Larger car carports are available that can be used for RVs, motorhomes, and even boats. There are also smaller carports available for motorcycles, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Whatever your car storage needs are, we offer a car carport that is right for you!
